ZIMBABWE TRANSFORMATION MODEL - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Ngwiza Mnkandla is ‘the boy from the village’. He ran around the dusty roads of Lower Gweru
without shoes and was fortunate just to attend the local village school. Speaking only the local Ndebele language at
the outset, Ngwiza quickly picked up the basics of a village education. His
teacher saw potential in him and told his parents that he should really be sent
to the city where he could get a better education. Scraping together funds, he was sent to the city school to learn.

As
time passed, Ngwiza became a star
student. He graduated high school and went on to graduate from what is now the
University of Zimbabwe. Ngwiza has pursued many options for his life mission
including; planting churches when President of DAWN (Discipling A Whole Nation); and a business leader owning
a number of his own businesses. he has left his imprint both in Zimbabwe and
elsewhere as he has navigated numerous nations of the world as a guest speaker.
Now is the time for ‘THE BOY FROM THE VILLAGE’ to GO BACK and GIVE BACK to the
village of his birth in Lower Gweru.

Danita’s Children works with almost 100 orphaned children (30+ from the recent earthquake) and they have a school for 500 children from the community.
Danita's Children also has a clinic with a new larger four story clinic under construction, and one of the most endearing projects – a special needs house for children who have physical and emotional difficulties unable to be handled in the typical orphanage environment.
