South Africa Orphanage: Door of Hope

The Impact International mission of legacy for the next generation is best described through the development of the Christy's House model of depositing life skills into orphans around the world.

The WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?) bracelet was very popular some time ago. It is still relevant in terms of the Impact model.  Jesus spoke in clear terms about the poor and disenfranchised - when you give water and clothes to the poor you touch my heart! (Matthew 25).

The Christy's House program for orphans strikes an important cord. It assists in training through the developing legacy curriculum, helping with clothing and school fees, etc. Begining with one orphanage, we are now assisting three.

South Africa

Christy's House has a personal interest in the orphanage just outside Johannesburg. Craig and Angela Geddes (Alastair's son) volunteer with Door of Hope. Christmas of 2009 is the first time that we will be assisting financially with Door of Hope. We are buying beds, mattresses, and clothes for the children.
